Gardenia&Ariana is the new ABK Group brand born from the merger of two historic Italian ceramic tile manufacturers: Gardenia Orchidea and Ariana. The brand is central to the Group’s strategy to expand its portfolio, offering a comprehensive and distinctive range of porcelain stoneware surfaces.

Gardenia&Ariana brings together different skills, design sensibilities, and stylistic legacies to create a solid and recognizable identity. The brand’s positioning is rooted in the “Italian Timeless” concept, striking a balance between the aesthetic tradition of Gardenia Orchidea—historically associated with classic, elegant taste—and Ariana’s longstanding dedication to material innovation and technological experimentation. This approach interprets the present while looking to the future of design and responds to the evolving needs of contemporary living.

The first Gardenia&Ariana catalog clearly expresses the brand’s founding values of elegance, quality, balance, and harmony through a wide and versatile range of products designed to complement different architectural styles. The core target is the mid-to-high-end residential market, with a particular focus on the bathroom, conceived as a space of well-being, comfort, and aesthetic identity. The new website also showcases the full potential of this range.

Gardenia&Ariana is an integral part of ABK Group and benefits from the Group’s industrial expertise and ongoing investment in technological innovation.

The merger represents a natural strategic evolution following two major acquisitions. In 2020, ABK Group acquired 100% of the share capital of Ceramiche Gardenia Orchidea S.p.A., a historic Italian tile manufacturer founded in 1961, while further strengthening its portfolio with the Versace Ceramics license. The Ariana brand, which joined ABK Group in 2000, originally started out as a wall tile specialist before embarking on a significant development path that led to its 2022 merger with the French company Desvres (also part of the Group) to create a new identity with a strong focus on outdoor spaces.
